Sunday Slim-down Week 0

I am starting a weight loss journey and I couldn’t be more excited. As always,Β starting is the most exciting part–it’ll get hard here in just a couple hours πŸ˜‰

I have developed poor habits, and my goal is to exchange those for good ones.

I am NOT going to count calories or macros. I’m not going to cut out specific food groups.

I AM going to eat CLEANER (Clean means: not processed, directly from nature), and I will follow an exercise routine.

Every Sunday I will check inΒ and say what mini goals I accomplished and how much weight I lost.

I love my body, but I would like to treat it better so that it can last me for many years. This picture below is me a week ago, at my highest weight of 194. (Why doesn’t it look like I weigh that much? Because I’m 5’10” so my weight distributes evenly).

I’m happy with how I look, but I love working on always improving myself. So here we go πŸ™‚

Follow me to see the journey! I can’t wait to see the obstacles I will face, and to learn how to overcome them.

  1. Yay! So exciting for you. I’m so interested in the journey ahead for you. I will tell you that crossfit changed my entire life. I love it so much and I a around great people everyday who live normal lives and also treat their bodies very well. Just throwing that idea out there. But good luck in the endeavor. I am new to the blog world (I haven’t even written yet, I’m slowly but surely creating my page) and you’re the first blog I have really liked.

    1. Awh thanks for such a sweet comment! I’ve actually tried a crossfit class with my friend! I think I’d need to be a part of one of their real programs to get into it, but it kicked my butt–in a good way! I’d like to be part of a community like that. I can’t wait to see your first post!πŸ’•

  2. Hi!
So happy I found your blog.
Girl, you look good! You do not even look like 194 pounds AT ALL.
I used to weigh a thick 170 pounds. I am 5’6 so the weight was sort of noticeable. But I lost 30 pounds in about 4 months. I am in the best shape of my life, and I think my new body is here to stay. It takes dedication and work!
I wish you the very best with your goals. You are off to a good start!

  3. I found having hardboiled eggs on hand helps. You can always grab them to go. They are low in calories, relatively inexpensive and if you eat mostly the white part, they have very little calories(20 calories for one egg, whites only). I managed to lose about 15 pounds by doing that and eating mostly fruits, vegetables and legumes(I realize those are veggies too). Here’s to healthy eating and healthy, happy life.
